Layout Share – Beautiful

Not only is this layout beautiful, but you should also know that it was done by a 12 year old! She is talented like her Mum! I was thrilled to bit this afternoon when Kayleen and Michelle came by to visit and show me what Kayleen had been up to lately. Kayleen’s album was filled with great pages, many of which she had done in our kids classes. It was so nice to see so many together.
This layout was inspired by her Mum and friends one afternoon, where they all scrapped together. The title and the circle are cricut cut, amazing that “jasmine” would cut so small, and the flowers were cut from the K&C Sparkly Sweet Range. She has added bling (from all manner of places) and fabric flowers too.

Layout by Karen. More great use of vibrant colours. Circles and stars are timeless for little boy layouts.

Layout Share – Every Little Girl Needs

Another beautiful creation from Nat. With a variety of letters and colours, and chipboard collections, Nat’s page shows a gorgeous photo of a girl and her Poppy.

Petaloo – Treasure Trove of Flowers

Flowers flowers everywhere. If you like floweres, then The Scrapbook House is the place to be right now! Jandell is finding room (good luck with that) today, and I am sure these will be very popular. So many colours, sizes and styles. They are in packets, in photo boxes, mini boxes and more. There are far too many colours to show… we even have black! Dots are “in” at the moment, and some of the kits have some flowers with dots too! What more could you possibly wish for?

For this layout I used the new DV Glitter and Embossed Papers along with Bazzil, inked with StazOn Purple, Cricut cut title (alphalicious) with Ice stickles, and a few of the petals from Petaloo with some very old gems and scissors from my stash.

Layout Share – The Age of Innocence

Here’s a layout I did last night.  The paper for the flowers is the same paper Jandell used by Fanci-ful, I used the reverse side. Flowers are Cricut Cut (George Flower 2) and also little fabric ones. Brads were a gift from a friend. 🙂 Title is Cricut Cut (Alphalicious) using the left over Bazzil, inked with Gold while still on the mat, then removed and heat embossed with clear. Flourishes are AL clear acrylic stamps – so gorgeous – stamped with the same Gold ink.

And the best bit of the page is my beautiful adorable daughter. I pinch myself sometimes when I look at her.. and she is every bit as beautiful inside as she is out!

Layout Share – Sprung

Cricut Cut Title using my friends “opposites attract”. She wasn’t too keen on the font, so I asked her if I could borrow it as mine isn’t in yet. I love it. Click “more” to see closer on the letters, the “you are so” was done 5 times and layered with the xyron machine to give dimension. I think Pat will be wanting her cartridge back now! Beads added to look like sugar.

Cricut Day

There was a swarm of Cricuts at Golden Pond Retreat today, all chirping along all day. It was a fun day, and I am suitable exhausted. I’ve pulled a muscle in my neck somehow and before I go off sooking to bed thought I’d post as many of the layouts that I could get my hands on to photograph for the day. There sure was some fantastic work done today!

We had a lovely day, Raelene catered for us… and I must say –  scrumtious food – great venue. We had a great group of ladies, all with their beloved machines, and they put together a layout each using George and Basic Shapes. Look how different and wonderful each ladies layout is! Would have loved to take more photos, but forgot till the latter part of the day. Thank you to all our ladies who allowed me to post these here. I will also try to post the instructions somehow so anyone else can try to replicate this page. Titles are using differents cartridges.

Update – Janita has posted more pictures from the Cricut Day on her blog.  Zip across and have a look… you’ll see a mug shot of me there too~!

Like these? Please leave a comment for the girls.

In the afternoon we created a card with a window, with flowers and beads, from a design by Michelle Hartjes.  This will be on display in the shop. We also had a number of other card projects available… just no time! I will post these also at a later date (if I can work out how to convert .doc files to here)

See ya… off to bed to rest my weary head. Night.

Layout Share – Supa Star

Had fun scraplifting this one… I used Basic Shapes for the flowers and the star, and Base Camp for the font. Lots of white gel pen, purple inks and some doodling (and journaling aren’t I a good girl?) in a purple zig… lots of fun… pick your colours and try scraplifting  it yourself!

Layout Share – Cry Baby title

crybaby2.jpg

Using my cricut for the title and the K & Co Chocolate Neopolitan Pack. This is just the title. I used the Mini Monograms cartridge and chalked the edges. Nice huh? I just love this look, and am still amazed at the letters when they come out of the machine… with all the little bits cut. I am such a gadget girl.
